A. Medicaid Information for Region I Boston

1. State of Connecticut

The following describes the State’s Medicaid program:

  • Name of Administering State Agency

    The State makes Medicaid determinations for Supplemental Security Income (SSI) recipients utilizing more restrictive criteria than title XVI.

    Refer SSI claimants to the nearest Connecticut State Department of Social Services office for determination of eligibility for Medicaid per local procedures.

2. State of Maine

The following describes the State’s Medicaid program:
