A. How/When to complete Item 29

Item 29 of the SSA-831, Disability Determination and Transmittal will be left blank. Disability Determination Services notices are computer generated based upon systems input.

If the system is unable to generate the proper disability determination notice and a manual notice must be prepared, Item 29 of the SSA-831 must contain special notice and/or coding instructions.
