POLICY

1. General

An adjustment of the reduction factor eliminates certain deduction and non-entitlement months from the original reduction factor. This adjustment is automatic; i.e., no application or request is needed.

2. Effective Dates

  • RIB FRA

  • Spouse's Benefit FRA

  • Widow(er)'s benefit age 62 and FRA

  • DIB benefits - The first month of entitlement or reentitlement to DIB.
