GN 04020: Unrestricted Reopening (Title II only)

Effective Dates: 10/21/1996 - Present

TN 3 (11-88)

We can reopen at any time if:

A claimant previously entitled to benefits is convicted of a crime that affects his/her right to receive benefits or his/her entitlement to a period of disability; or

A claimant's conviction of a crime that affected his/her right to receive benefits or his/her entitlement to a period of disability is overturned.
