A. Operating procedure for combining payments from the same trust fund

1. General information

We authorize each benefit award separately, but combine the payments.

2. Requirement for combining benefits

• A person entitled to retirement insurance benefits (RIB) or disability insurance benefits (DIB) is also entitled to a wife's or husband's benefit payable from the same trust fund; or

• A person is simultaneously entitled to a RIB and a survivor benefit.

B. Procedure for notices

The award notice must indicate what the combined benefit represents.
