  • A. Policy
  • Establish a medical improvement not expected (MINE) diary if the impairment meets or equals the following medical listings:
  • Set a MINE diary in every allowance involving human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection, including cases in which HIV is not the primary diagnosis.

  • For applicable MINE criteria, see DI 26525.045B.2. (Impairment Code 0430) and DI 26525.045B.3.
